Little man is growing up

Father and son nap time is the cutest thing ever!
Okay so I'm not the best at blogging often, but it's rare that I have the time to now.

Tyler is growing up so very fast. He's now just over two months. He's just over 8 pounds and about 20 inches long. He has outgrown all of his preemie clothes and quite a few of his newborn sized ones too. We've started in on the 0-3 month old sized ones. Not only is he growing in size but he's also growing socially.

He's not smiling socially yet, but he will crack a grin when he's comfy or gassy. He's working on giggling too, though it just sounds like heavy breathing at this point. He's starting to interact with his world. Looking at toys and pictures and he loves to stare at people's faces. He has also recently mastered the art of rolling from his stomach to his back.

A comedian and a garden show...

what are two ways Tyler has proven he can sleep through anything!

Our little man has been to see his first stand up comedian. Well, technically, he slept through the whole thing but he was there. We went to see Alan Abarbanell's show a few days ago. He's a CODA (child of deaf adults ~ his folks are deaf) who tells stories about his life. His whole performance is done in Sign Language and English (simultaneously). He's hilarious! So why are we in awe of the sleeping skills of our boy? He slept through it! The screaming and the laughter and the stomping of feet on a stage... talk about loud. It was a hoot though!

Then today we went to the home and garden show in Denver. Not because we wanted to redo our garden but because Jess's friend had entered the cake contest that they had at the entrance. Her cakes are AMAZING!! (http://www.crazybeautifulcakes.com/). The exhibits were interesting too. But it was soo loud we couldn't really talk to each other and there was Tyler... sound asleep!

Maybe we should re-check his hearing!
